Yesterday, Megan went around asking everyone at work if they were going to be around today. Said she was thinking of bringing Stevie up to visit. She asked enough folks who said "yes" enthusiastically that she felt committed.
She ended her class today a little early so she had plenty of time to go home, pack up Stevie, some papers and some sniblets and head over to the office. (Remember, Megan has two jobs: teaching and student services/academic advising - during the summer, she works at two different campuses.)
Stevie had an absolute blast. She didn't like the polished marble floors in the lobby. She did just fine, thank you, on the elevator once she got past that big dark line (where the floor and the elevator don't quite meet).
Megan didn't make her wear a leash in the office

. Stevie ran from office to office and around in circles, only bonking into some door stops once or twice. Naturally, she first made a bee-line for the office of the one person who "doesn't like pets" (of course!)
Megan reports that it was pretty much pandemonium with numerous folks -- staff and students alike -- running down the hall trying their best to capture a photo of Stevie on her 3rd or 4th run by them.
Stevie did great, didn't mess anywhere in the office and made lots of new friends. Megan said she couldn't decide which opinion was weighed in more: that Stevie hadn't grown at all or that she'd grown so much since her last visit.
What an exciting day. So exciting that Stevie peed in her crate on the way home. Hey, pebody's norfect!
